"I was still in college, broke, wouldn’t have a good household for this child to grow up in."

This story is published at Shout Your Abortion.

We had only been dating three months when I found out I was pregnant.

I was still in college, broke, wouldn’t have a good household for this child to grow up in.

Choosing to have an abortion was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. It took me over a year to stop crying and feeling guilty about it.

We ended up getting married three years later, and once again I found myself pregnant. We had a home, jobs, but we didn’t want children yet.

So once again I had an abortion. This time I was better educated and didn’t feel guilty over it.
